man up and own up to your shit, thanks.
i haven't really blogged about my days in a while.
seeing as ive mostly done reviews and stuff,
so since im bored,
i guess i'll do that.
let's seeee,
i guess we can start with tuesday
monday wasn't too eventful
oh! except for my creepy racquetball teacher
calling me "Kitty" and saying he'd spank Julia and I...
|: grosss
to make it short. i wore a hello kitty shirt to class
and my teacher said
"well isn't that a pretty kitty you got there"
and from then kept calling me Kitty.
so then monday he was watching our game
and i guess Julia and I weren't hitting the ball hard enough
so he yelled, and i quote,
"spank that ball! spank it! or im gonna spank you two!!"
.....
uh, yeah. i felt uncomfortable.
so thats that.
tuesday, nubi before bowling again.
yumyumyumyumyum.
wednesday nothing special.
thursday i got out of class hellof early
and basically had two hours before work
so Julia and I went to Ulta again
and i got more China Glazes, cnd, solar balm, and an OPI
which i will probably talk about more later
after that i just went to work even though i was a little early
so im workingworkingeatingworkingstandingworki
and all of the sudden Davey walks in!
and im in like total complete shock. like straight up O___O
totally made my day
hell, totally made my last couple of weeks.
i don't think i've smiled that much in so long.
i just kept looking at him and smiling.
he stayed till my shift ended and we went to target then
to my house for dinner. i was so happy
all i did was say 'thank you' over and over again
because it was totally unexpected that he came by.
it felt so good to be around him again [:
moving on to fridaaay, alyssa and i had a Union Landing
adventure to Sally's for her China Glazes
and a dinner at Fresh Choice. namms.
so heres a little mini review as much as i tried to resist it.
and this is really late because i know this collection has been out for a while but:
yes, the summer day's collection.
i finally got to get some from this line because
it fiiinallly restocked at Sally's
i got four of the six colors:
Strawberry Fields
Grape Juice
Watermelon Rind
and Orange Marmalade
im not even sure how orange is going to look with my skin tone
but the effect these polishes give off is just so amazing
i don't even care.
it's not as subtle as a shimmer but not as extreme as a glitter
but all in all just as beautiful.
MissChievous described them as having "glass flecks"
but honestly when i first tried it i thought of sugar.
like the colored sugar you used on cookies as a kid.
and in sunlight the colors look even more brilliant
i understood then why ChG released these as a summer line.
and i will probably even wear these all through out the year,
i never followed seasonal colors anyways :P
oh, and i like how it comes off fairly easily unlike glitter polishes
which are such a PAIN to remove...so i was relieved that these
shimmeryglitterysugary polishes are not difficult.
i also got a few colors from the Kicks collection.
i still need Custom Kicks :c thats like the main one i wanted from that line
but it's ALWAYS sold out. grrrr so i might have to order that. im not sure yet.
and i also got No Room For the Blues from OPI's Paige Denim Collection.
im excited to try that one, i believe i will use it for my next mani.
as for now i will keep enjoying the Summer Days [:
uhmmmm what else is there to talk about
nothing really
im somewhat tired so i guess i'll stop now.
iCurrently: have Poker Face stuck in my head because of that hilarious Lady GaGa acoustic video
and also want a big bowl of mi and siracha on the side with a Thai iced tea made by aryssa.mmm.
NOTD: Watermelon Rind<333
sooo over the last couple months i've accumulated a lot of nail products
and since i said i liked reviewing stuff these are reviews on all the ones
i've tried so far :D (it's long, prepare yourself):
Nail Tek Intensive Therapy II
at first i didn't like this product too much
but now i find it to be very essential.
i tried it as a base coat for my manis like
the instructions say and i think that's why i originally disliked it.
it obviously isn't made to be a base coat
so the polish chips very fast so the product can't do it's "therapy"
i then tried it differently than youre instructed to do so
i just simply wore it by itself
no polish on top, just strictly Nail Tek
and everyday i would add another coat
and the day after i could already feel my nails
becoming stronger o_o
before the tek my nails would bend easily
and if they bend without any feeling what so ever
then they're fairly weak
but even trying to bend my nails after the Nail Tek
i felt resistance, and trying to bend them all the way
hurt a little so that's how you know your nails are strong xD
sooo i would definitely keep this product around
i definitely recommend it as thereapy
after getting acrylics off when your nails are extremely weak and frail
to strengthen your nails right up in a few days time
Sally Hansen Speed Shine 10 Day Top Coat
this top coat is....eh
i think i would only use this if i didn't have anything else as a top coat
your manis don't last 10 days as it says in the name
and it doesn't dry very smooth
the texture is very streaky, not very pleasant to the touch
so this is one of the things i'd use as a last resort
but hope that i wouldn't have to use haha
now on to the BETTER base and top [:
CND Stickey Base Coat:
this base coat is wonderfullllll
it actually does dry with a somewhat sticky consistancy
so it serves as an anchoring base to your polish
and holds on tight.
this paired with my top coat gave me pretty much NO TIPWEAR
after four days of wear.
i had a few chips here and there but on the other nails
there was rarely any sight of tip wear
i was amazed.
and unlike China Glazes base, THE POLISH DOES NOT PEEEEEEEL!
praise Lord.
that's what i absolutely hated about my old basecoat
but no matter how you bend your nail the polish stays
it's wonderful and i love it

Poshe Super-Fast Drying Top Coat:
<333333333333333
ho-lee crap
i will never ever ever do my nails without this top coat ever again
i did major research comparing Poshe and Seche Vite
and i think what sold me was All Laquered Up's results
on her Top Coat Challege (also what sold me on Stickey)
and i wasn't too into Seche's noted thick consistency
i tend to get very impatient and irritated
so seeing as Poshe was a thinner version of Seche
i opted for Poshe.
and it is amazingggg
it does not lie when it says dry to the touch in 1 minute
i was very surprised that i could touch my nails
and it feel dry and smooth
and in a couple more minutes it is completely dryyy
it's also amazing because it goes over wet polish
so for polish to go from wet to completely dry in that amount of time
is just awesome.
and if any of you have seen xSparkages video on
her favorite nail treatments she said her con to Seche
was that it made her polish shrink back after a day so you can see the tip
of her nail, Poshe does nottt do that. nope. no shrinking
with the Stickey basecoat+Poshe my mani still looked brand new after four days
there was a few minor chips here and there but as far as the rest of the nails
they still looked freshly done.
so these two are defintely products i will not do manis without.
![]()
Solar Oil/Balm:
so i am a person that does clip my cuticles
but they do grow back very uneven and dry
and just reallly yucky looking.
regular lotions and hand creams were great for my hands
but didn't do much for the dry cuticles
so i did some research on cuticle oils.
i heard a lot of praise from CND's Solar Oil and Solar Balm
from Scrangie and xSparkage
so i decided try it out for myself and these products totally
fixed my dry cuticle problem
even just the first night, i applied the balm before bed
and the next morning my cuticles were no longer
super dry looking (you know, when theyre like white and really noticeable)
it was awesome.
and it does not feel greasy at all like you would think
it absorbs into your skin instantly so you don't feel any residue on your fingertips at all.
i like to put the balm before bed since it's thicker and more concentrated
and the oil at random times during the day if i feel the need to do so.
the oil smells yummy too [:
Crystal Nail Files:
Essie Crystal Nail File:
i file my nails everytime i do a mani because actually filing is really good
for your nails and helps keep the tips strong
but i used to use just regular emery boards and those made my nails
split like mofo...like i would see layers of my nail get left behind
sometime after i'd file, and i did not like that at all
so i heard a way to minimize that are to use crystal nail files
i was at Ulta shopping around and picked up an Essie crystal nail file
and i tried it and honestly did not like the feeling of it at first
seeing as it's pretty much a roughed peice of glass
it kindof felt like i was running my nail over a window
..yeah, not a pleasant feeling at all.
and even though it's supposed to be super gentle
they still instructed you file only one way
and i hate hateeee filing only one direction
it takes way too long to acheive what i want
and it doesn't give you as much control if you filed both ways.
and if you filed both directions with the Essie file
that feeling of scratching a window just intensifies
sooo i didn't like this one too much after a while.
i did a little more looking around and picked up a
Ruby Stone Crystal Nail File:
these you can find at your local Sally's
and i think with the card it's only like 2 dollars?
the essie one was ten...so..major deal here.
and i love this file WAY better so that just goes to show
you that the more money you pay does not mean better quality
i love this file because they actually say on the description that
YOU CAN FILE BOTH DIRECTIONS
aaaaaah, thank youuuu.
and honestly as gentle as it's supposed to be
it does the work of an emery board without the splitting
it is definitely thicker than the Essie file and any other
crystal nail file you'll find, and thats what a lot of people don't
like about it but it really doesn't bother me.
i like to keep my nails fairly short so i don't always trim them
with a nail cutter cuz i usually end up cutting off too much T_T
so i usually just like to file them down to the length i like.
so this file is pretty much the best for that.
i guess for the Essie one, it's okay for like getting out quick snags
but as for a major filing job i would turn to the Ruby Stone.
PA:
PA is a japanese brand of nail polish that i found at Japantown
the bottle is pretty small for the price but the colors were too cute
to pass up, and at the time they were colors that i had been looking for
as far as application. the brush is okay, consistency isn't anything different
from what i'm used to. it was a bit streaky with the first coat
but after a couple coats it looks just fine. im a three coater anyways.
comes off super easily when removing it with acetone.
so all in all PA was okay, i just wish i could find dupes that are a little
bit more accessible to me

Essie:
a lot of people say that Essie's consistency is too runny or whatever
but i actually like Essie's consistency. it makes it easier to build up
on coats without worrying about if it's too thick.
the brush is alright not too thin but not too wide,
and the colors are pretty opaque with two coats.
the staying power is also pretty good. i went days without chips
and this isn't common with all Essie's but the first bottle i got
smelled of gasoline o_O which scared me a little but the other
bottles i got didn't smell that way so im not sure what that's about.

OPI:
okay, so i'm sure that a lot of people expect rave reviews on OPI
like it's the best best most amazing thing i've ever tried
but honestly, to me, it's alright, haha
a reason why i think people fall in love with OPI right away
is maybe because it's the first "high end" brand they try?
so of course compared to drug store brands it is a lot better.
OPI was one of the last brands that i had tried so i tested a lot more
before trying the "best" so i had more to compare to.
and compared to everything else, it's not as jizz worthy as people hype it up to be.
they have some nice colors but i like China Glaze's color range better
seeing as they have a lot of bright vibrant shades
OPI has a few here and there, but compared to China Glaze
they don't have nearly as much as i'd like.
and a lot of people rave over the Pro Wide Brush
and this brush can really either be your best friend
or your worst nightmare...haha
because of the wide short design you are able to acheive full coverage
in fewer strokes, and at first i liked that a lot
but the second time i tried it i noticed that a lot of the time
the brush would not cover the sides of my nails.
and that is a really big peeve of mine when your nails look beautifully painted
but you look at the sides and find that they're totally bare.
so it does take a little getting used to and a lot of clean up
after to get those pesky sides painted.
so OPI is a good brand don't get me wrong, but to me it isn't the best.
i still love my China Glaze [:
i think that's enough for now haha.
i still have to try out a few other brands and products
but...idk when im going to get to those really
so when i do i'll post reviews as well
i've gotten a lot of new China Glazes so im gonna have fun with those for a while [:
NOTD: China Glaze- Strawberry Fields & Entourage
looks like watermelon gummies! :D
that i had almost forgotten about
it used to make me cry because of
how happy i felt while i read it
now it does it for the complete opposite
yeah this is a little late
but i watched Coraline yesterday
for the first time yes
and if you know me
you know i anticipated this movie.
and my verdict?:
it sucked.
haha.
i was very disappointed.
after reading i kindof already knew
it wouldn't be that good because
it would have to be watered down a lot
for the young audience
but i didn't think it'd be THAT watered down...
i liked how in the book that Coraline was portrayed
as a very independent character.
and the journey was HERS.
the fact that she went through everything by herself
made her a really likeable character.
so the fact that she had a friend in the movie
took away from that a little bit
i don't even remember his name cuz i didn't like that
he was there in the first place haha.
and although there was a lotttt of differences
it still tied in very well to make sense
like with the dolls. kindof like a little twisted rendition
of toy story but i liked that touch.
made the intro a little creepy too.
i was also bothered by a certain character...
Ms Forcible made me really uncomfortable to watch
why?
because she had an enormous chest...
and Tim Burton always has a knack for distorting the proportions of the body
with his characters but...jesus christ they were huge...
and what made it even worse is her performance
as Venus..or something
it was hard to pay attention..
her outfit consisted of
(well im not sure if you really can consider it an actual outfit)
seashell shaped glitter pasties and an underwear piece.
just to make things visual and more understandable:
how does that ^^^^^ pass for PG?
im not entirely sure.
the movie itself looked very poorly made,
idk if they just said fuck it with this movie or what
but it wasn't very good quality.
it kindof looked like it wasn't completely finished
like we were watching it still in progress.
and the dvd 3d feature doesn't even work
UNLESS YOU HAVE A NEW LCD PURASUMA TV! -_-
at least this movie gave me something to laugh about.
especially the part where the cat opened his mouth
to speak and sounded like Rorschach.
that was pretty good.
within the first ten minutes i could already tell the movie
was going to be a complete bust
oh well
hopefully 9 can make up for it [:

NOTD: OPI- dating a royal (trial 2)
poshe top coat
cnd stickey base coat
opi- dating a royal, do you lilac it?. tickle my france-y (for my mommy c:)
essie- mesmorize (which looks similiar to dating a royal but a little lighter
i couldn't decide so i got both)
aaaand yeah i think that's it?
now im just waiting on the zoyas.
my collection has been growing a lot lately
and it's probably going to get bigger once if i get a job
eeek

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS....
first of all
fail to you choosing FRANKIE JONAS and NOAH CYRUS
for doing the english dubs
and EPICEPICEPIC FAIL for having them doing this
HORRID RENDITION of the originally adorable theme song!
the theme song i love so!
the song that my cousin and i would sing around my house
at family gatherings! curse youuu.
usually you don't do TOO bad with the english versions
wait i take that back...
it's always pretty bad.
Totoro with the Fanning sisters...
(not to mention another bad english theme song..)
Ashley Tisdale and Brittany Snow in Whisper of the Heart...
Shia LeBeouf in Nausicaa...
not that im hating on Shia or anything
but he has that distinct voice that you can reconize ANYWHERE
so when the character speaks you see it as two different people
instead of focusing on the character himself.
if that makes sense
WHATEVER, i know what i mean...haha.
but yeah. this trend of bad versions needs to stop, Disney.
this one with Ponyo has to be the most disappointing...
ugh -____- this actually got me really irritated and angry haha.
i can't wait for the dvd release in October
so i can tune your English monstrosity out.
oh and lastly...
IT'S NOT FREAKING "PAWN-YO". GET IT RIGHT.
hmph >:C
Currently Listening: the ORIGINAL Ponyo theme. jerks.
man I looooove crying myself to sleep
it's feaking awesome
I also love being really sarcastic

I HATE YOU LJ FOR DELETING MY ENTRY BEFORE I COULD POST IT
it was hellof long too ):<
and now i don't even feel like typing it all again
cuz my excitement is replaced with more annoyance
BASICALLY:
Target has hellof new hello kitty things there
i got pencils a pencil pouch and two collectible toys
but i want more D: cuz they have big-ish plushies too.
i also got two new nail products.
Nail Tek therapy and Sally Hansen 10 Day top coat.
the two i use now as a base and top sucks bawls.
because one:
China Glazes base coat doesnot provide the
"strong adhesion" it's name says it does.
it provides adhesion to the POLISH not your nail
so you can literally peel off the polish in one piece...
easy clean up i guess, but really irritating when you did a fresh
mani the day before -_-''
and In a Hurry's Air Dry Top Coat dries fast yes, but
the brush is terrible. teeeerrriiible. enough said.
so i will try the two new ones that i got today once i decide to remove the Essie i have on now.
i've been getting a lot of nail products recently so maybe
once the Zoyas come in i'll do reviews on all of them.
i don't care if no one reads this stuff i like making reviews (:
anddd now i have to go study for the Quickly test that i have TOMORROW.
when i haven't even thought of that job since two months ago
when the lady last emailed me and i thought i wasn't going to get that job anyways
JUST KIDDING I GUESS. >_<"
Currently: D: and kinda hungry
but jess and i don't! :D
so Zoya's twitter page had a promotion that if they got
5000 followers by a certain day that they would release a code
that would get you three of their nail polishes of YOUR CHOICE for FREE
all you had to pay was shipping
which honestly isn't that bad.
shipping is 7 dollars
each bottle of Zoya is 6 dollars each
so regularly,
three bottles + shipping is 25 dollars
uhm
$7 > $25
helloooo?! amazing deal, i'd say.
i tried to convince my mom to let me borrow her card
but she wasn't buying it. (no pun intended) no surprise really
and i was telling jessie anne about the deal and she got into it
so we were on a mission! to order our free polishes!
she picked out one of the three for herself
i only really wanted two anyways
but of course EVERYONE and their mother was taking advantage of this promotion
so the site was being EXTREMELY slow. ugh -__-'' it was frustrating.
they honestly didn't think this deal through very well...haha.
and i don't understand how that promotes them when they're pretty much giving away
a lot of free product. a lotttttt.
cuz i do not have a twitter page. i was given the code from a friend.
so im pretty sure a lot of people were just handing out the code like candy.
and they're only making seven dollars an order. twenty one if the buyer is impatient with shipping.
so i don't understand it...haha
but it got me good polishes for cheeeeap! :D and that's all that matters hahaha.
it took us soooo long to just get the order done because of the sites laggg.
but we got what we wanted (:
for me:
malia
&
yummy
and jessie anne gottt:
pinta!
yay, pretty :D
im excited.
i hope shipping is fast, although i doubt it because of all
the orders they have to do. but i can't wait!

no really..
i realized one of my shirts was not with the rest of my shirts
and not in my laundry hamper. or anywhere else.
a few weeks later i found it at the very bottom of my laundry hamper hiding
i was like "yesss" and put it back in there so it could be washed.
up till now i still don't have the shirt...
my mom did the laundry that week so i have no idea where it went
it's not in my shirt drawer and it's not in my laundry hamper...
so...what the heck, shirt. why you playing games.
but turn up somewhere cuz i would like to wear you D:

blogblogblogblog
i haven't blogged in a while
pretty much because i don't feel like pouring out
my pathetic feelings for the the interweb to read
my business thankss.
so pretty much this blog is basically just to ramble about different things
because i feel like i have a lot to say about random things o_O yeah..okay
sooo social life is gay
i don't feel like im getting any better?
but it's not getting worse soo i guess it works out a little
...a little
i still feel like shit most of the hours im actually awake
whatever
i had a nice weekend thought with skwur [:
it felt nice to laugh about...nothing
and everything at the same time
but now she's gone ]:
and i have to wait two weeks
haha, dammit.
im getting really annoyed that i can't get a job
like i get sooo close but nothing happens
fuck quickry, that lady played me hella bad
i bombed nubi because i let my emotions of the day
get in the way of me actually presenting myself well
-_- i should have just said "wait till im done"
but no, im a nice person. i guess.
and school's coming up close so iiii need money for books...
im also really annoyed with home
you'd think that with hella shit home would be the one place
you can just chillax and be away from everything
well not when my mother decides to become annoyed and angry
at every single little stupid thing.
and the fact she has to have an attitude when i go out with FAMILY.
that i come home late when im with FAMILY
i don't need that. it's riduculous.
i'd love so much to move out.
maybe next year. we'll see. i doubt it though.
so i was at target yesterday and i spotted bright Tokidoki looking characters
but that weren't branded with the Tokidoki name
whattt? yes, SImone Legno released a line for stores like target and i think? walmart
i saw a tshirt of it on a walmart commercial so im assuming they sell it there too.
kinda cool. it's mostly of little punk rock kids which isn't really my thing
but i think it's cute for kids cuz they can afford some of his stuff now.
and they sell Essie at target now?? whattt.
i picked up one just to see how the quality is. if it's as nice as people say
but it smells like gasoline...|: i don't know if that's normal
but ive never come across a formula that smells of gasoline...haha
we'll see when i actually try it out.
i have two other ones im anxious to try out.
the pa ones i got at japantown are reallyyy cute
it took about 3 coats for it to become opaque though
especially for the green one, i think that one took 4
but the colors are so cute! very true to the bottle
which i like. not like the Nicole by OPI crap...i was very disappointed with
the one i got from that brand. it's sooo dull compared to the bottle.
i have a sephora by OPI one and a mac hello kitty one i borrowed from skwur.
i've wanted to try a grey polish and since i cant get Recycle yet i borrowed that one.
aaaaah im gonna ruin my brain from polish fumesss.
oh well [: haha
what elseeee
hmmm
this is really random but i've been thinking about this today
so the movie (documentary...-_-) Paper Heart
i say documentary in that way because honestly
it does not look believable as a documentary at all.
first off michael cera shows up outta no where
and even from the the trailer it looks like he just acts into her
so he can be in the "documentary".
and they broke up recently so that added to my thinking as well.
i just found it humorous initially cuz i thought of charchar [:
bwahahaha.
well
i think im done ._.
